A2 Gir Cow Ghee (A2 गिर गाय का घी)

The extraction of our A2 Gir Cow Ghee is a traditional Vedic process of curd churning called as BILONA Method. Firstly the milk is set into curd by coagulating milk, thereafter the curd is churned to take out “makkhan” from it. This makkhan is then boiled on moderate heat on a “Chullah” with wood used as a fuel instead of LPG gas. Then this ghee is stored in a copper vessel to retain its nutrients completely. The whole process gives it unparalleled aroma, daanedaar texture and authentic flavour. Our Ghee is suitable for cooking and holy rituals like “Akhand Diya” and “Havan” as well, l since we follow the tradition of SUTAK i.e we don’t use the milk for 15 days if the cow has given birth to a calf and thereafter we follow the tradition of “DOHAN” where the calf feeds on first two aanchals of Gaumata and the remaining two are for milking, which makes it completely cruelty free milk.
